Hispanic business and community leader, Iris Palacio, is a dominant force in attorney joint advertising. Her mother, a native of Cuba, wanted Ms. Palacio and her sibling to learn Spanish and the Cuban culture. Her mother, an educator, and her father, Commander of a battalion at the Bay of Pigs Invasion, never allowed her to lose sight of the struggles her ancestors overcame in pursuit of the American Dream. Ms. Palacio attended University in California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business with an emphasis in law.

Upon graduation, Ms. Palacio spent a number of years working at AV-rated law firms in the Greater Los Angeles area. It was during this time that Ms. Palacio identified the need for Spanish-speaking attorneys to represent Spanish-speaking clients. Having translated on behalf of various clients, she soon became aware that the language barrier was a major challenge for Spanish-speaking clients to receive equitable legal representation.
