Poop Patrol Offers Free Service to Disabled Napa Residents
Napa Valley Poop Patrol creates Scoops on Wheels, a free dog waste cleanup program for disabled Napa dog owners.
Napa, CA, August 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Napa Valley Poop Patrol (NVPP), an environmentally responsible dog waste removal company, has launched a new program called Scoops on Wheels. This free program provides dog waste cleanup and removal service to disabled residents of Napa. With over 12,000 disabled adults in the Napa Valley, NVPP hopes to reach as many of those residents as possible.
“There are many disabled Napans who own one or more dogs, but may not be able to clean up the dog waste. When the dog waste accumulates, it presents environmental and health hazards. With our new free program, Scoops on Wheels, we hope to eliminate this problem,” states Stacey Lloyd, co-owner of Napa Valley Poop Patrol. “Scoops on Wheels will also enable dog lovers with disabilities to finally own a dog if they want one,” adds Jacob Lloyd, co-owner of NVPP, “As a result, we may be able to get more dogs out of the shelter.”
To qualify for the Scoops on Wheels program, residents must meet all of the following: 1) Reside in Napa, 2) Must own one or more dogs and the dog(s) must live at the residence, 3) Must be currently receiving SDI, 4) Must live alone or reside with only residents receiving SDI, 5) The nature of the disability must include the inability to bend, stoop, or walk, 6) Must be prepared to show proof of one or more of the above.
Disabled Napa residents who qualify for Scoops on Wheels will receive free dog waste cleanup and removal service on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on the needs of the resident. For more information, please call 707-312-8009.
