NSC Walford is Expanding

Oswestry, United Kingdom, August 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- North Shropshire College’s Walford Campus is expanding the selection of courses on offer in September; the courses on offer at the Campus now include a Higher Education course in Equine Management and further education courses in Countryside Management, Veterinary Nursing and Floristry.

The College is also prioritising apprenticeships and Walford is right at the heart of this exciting development with the new NSC Business Training Department located at ‘The Cannery’, a beautiful renovated building over at the farm side of the Campus. Walford has received a record number of applicants for full-time courses in Agriculture, Engineering, Motor Vehicle, Outdoor Education and Animal Care. Walford always has a vast selection of Rural Skills courses available, supporting Shropshire’s agricultural sector.

Chris Jones, Director of Walford Campus, commented, "The Walford Campus just goes from strength to strength. The investment over on the farm in terms of the dairy and refurbished buildings is really paying off. We are thrilled to see record numbers on our courses here and the expansion into new areas."
