Homes for Heroes will be present at Fire Rescue International in put on by the International Association of Fire Chiefs in Atlanta, GA to personally thank every firefighter, fire chief, and all other emergency responders in attendance.
Minneapolis, MN, August 27, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Homes for Heroes is honored to be participating in the International Association of Fire Chiefs National Conference, dubbed Fire Rescue International, taking place August 26th-29th in Atlanta, GA. Homes for Heroes will be there to say Thank You personally, to the leadership of firefighters and emergency responders from all over the world.
“Our nation’s firefighters and emergency medical service members selflessly serve our communities each and every day, many times without a smile or thank you in return. We’re determined to change that, to make sure that they know they’re valued and appreciated by giving back to them in a very real, very meaningful way,” says Abby Waltz, National Director of Homes for Heroes.
Waltz will be in attendance at the Homes for Heroes booth (#1416) after hosting an event where she’ll be training Homes for Heroes real estate agents and lenders, from all over the country, on how to reach, work with and give back to more heroes. The training event takes place on August 27th from 1:00-6:00pm at the McCormick & Schmick’s on Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta.
Inspired by the tragic events of 9/11, Homes for Heroes gives back and says Thank You to firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, military, teachers and healthcare workers by providing substantial savings and discounts when they buy, sell or refinance a home. In addition to their savings, every time a hero uses Homes for Heroes for their real estate transactions, a donation is made to the Homes for Heroes Foundation, a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) established to serve heroes in need.
