The publication has been revived to bring readers new product launch information, the latest industry insights and informational guides for industry education.
It was during the 2008-2009 recession, that the company decided to halt many of its marketing efforts in order to focus more on its core business. Refocusing such efforts allowed the company to remain a successful coated abrasive supplier in difficult times. Now, with an improved economy, VSM Abrasives has decided to re-launch their e-newsletter in order to keep their customers better informed.
The Coated Chronicle is a quarterly publication that promises to refrain from many overloading subscribers’ inboxes. It also guarantees to provide readers with information such as: product spotlights, customer success stories, educational articles and more. During the initial re-launch, this July, The Coated Chronicle grew by a couple thousand subscribers. “This is a good indication that readers find the material informative and appealing,” said Rachel Krafft, Sales and Marketing Coordinator for VSM Abrasives.
