The Innovator of the Year Competition is a “celebration of local ingenuity and business development.” HeadRoom supports this grant competition where entrepreneurs, small businesses, and local inventors are invited to apply for a grant and a 1 year residency at HeadRoom where they can develop the next big idea or innovation with appropriate technology and “thought” support.
“It is a huge honor to be selected among the semifinalist for this competition! I have not seen the list of other semi-finalist, but I am sure they will all be top-notch organizations,” says Koziol. When asked about any special preparations for the presentation Koziol said, “Not really anything special. We’ll highlight how critical students are to our nation’s future and the strengths of theSMARTsub’s abilities to create efficiencies in schools daily – sort of the same thing that we concentrate on every day.”
