Introducing: Transparent Technology for Mobile Devices
MountainView, CA, August 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- HandScape, Inc. will soon be launching HandyCase™, a patented, transparent technology for mobile devices.
The company will introduce HandyCase on Kickstarter.com September 8, 2015. This ergonomic technology allows users to tap or swipe their tablet or mobile device from the back panel, without obscuring the screen with their hands.
HandScape was founded in 2013. The company develops hardware and software solutions that enable a new dimension of input technology for next generation mobile and tablet devices.
HandyCase is thin, light, and robust, and attaches to the back of a device such as an iPad. Using fingers to manipulate objects from the back panel, users will be able to see their hands through the screen. The case is Bluetooth Smart (BLE) and has a long battery life. From any holding position, users can enter data by operating hands from the back without using a camera or imaging devices.
Tong Luo, Ph.D., Founder and CTO at HandScape, explains “A key issue for tablet owners is how to hold the device while quickly entering data, typing messages, or playing games.”
App developers have a great tool in their portfolio and can provide an intuitive means to see, tap and swipe on-screen objects without users obscuring the screen with their hands. HandyCase allows for 1-handed and 2-handed interaction with games, maps and other next-generation applications. “HandScape is delivering a new dimension of input technology for next generation mobile devices. We are putting all of our energy into making HandScape a success,” says Dr. Luo.
HandScape was recently recognized by Forbes in an article titled “Chinese Startups That Splashed at CES” and was also nominated for the “Top 30 Innovation Award” during the 2014 Silicon Valley Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (SVIEF).
HandScape is launching on KickStarter to raise funds for further product design enhancement, hardware and software development, and marketing and sales support. To learn about and participate in this promising KickStarter campaign, contact HandScape today.
Tong Luo possesses more than 15 years of experience at major corporations, including Bell Labs, GTE Labs, CIENA, and eBay.
