Ms. Sitgraves has over 30 years experience in the education field. As a teacher for Chesterfield County Public Schools in Chesterfield County, Virginia, she has taught High School Air Force Junior Reserves Cadet Officer Training for the past six years. Her areas of expertise were citizenship, effective communication, career planning, leadership, and management. Ms. Sitgraves is a member of the Tidewater Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen Incorporated and Gethsemane Baptist Church. She was born on April 20, 1954, in Waco, Texas and obtained an MBA Ed.D. from Regent University in 2013. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Resources Development from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Sitgraves is furthering her studies as an Assistant working in the Patient Advocate Office of the Veterans Healthcare Administration in Hampton, Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and singing.
