Alumni 4 America Launches Largest Educational Fundraiser in Nation's History
The Alumni 4 America initiative is changing the way parents, organizations and businesses invest in students' educational and empowerment needs.
St. Louis, MO, August 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- As America’s students head back to school, and parents pull out their wallets, Alumni 4 America has announced the largest nationwide fundraiser to date to help schools get students ready for the challenges of tomorrow and future careers.
“We want to change student fundraising in America,” said Ann Myers, Founder and President of Alumni 4 America. “Alumni 4 America is empowering the current generation of students through our Make A Difference Challenge national fundraising campaign by building a country-wide partnership of public/private businesses along with for-profit and nonprofit organizations.”
Corporate sponsors, local businesses, organizations and individuals are given the power to target their investment to the school of their choice. Participation on all levels raise money for student educational needs such as school supplies, books, computers, empowerment programs, scholarships and capital campaigns.
“We believe the greatest gift we can give our youth is education and by investing in their future we are also investing in America’s next generation of leaders,” said Larry McElwain, Founder and Chief Operating Officer. “These are the very students that will one day lead our companies, small businesses and community organizations.”
By offering a mobile app and low cost reward card for consumer discounts on valuable products and services, Alumni 4 America’s purpose-driven fundraising provides businesses an opportunity to reach new audiences in their cause-driven marketing efforts. This platform, called the Business Hero Network, offers an easy, effective and rewarding way for local businesses to support their communities’ students while attracting new customers.
“We also believe that children are our greatest resource and that providing a first class education to our children should be a priority. America has slipped in world rankings, for our children to be able to compete in the global marketplace, we must get serious about giving them the tools they need,” said Myers.
Alumni 4 America has created a platform that can truly raise millions of dollars by simply getting involved. Here is an example…If a school with 1000 students were each to just ask 1 business owner in their community (a business their family already supports) to be part of the Business Hero Network the school would raise $300,000.00; in addition 10% or $50,000 would be given to a selected charitable foundation like the NFIB’s Young Entrepreneur Foundation.
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Young Entrepreneur Foundation’s has joined Alumni 4 America’s Make A Difference Challenge, the YEF is dedicated to providing valuable lessons and curriculum to students in hopes of creating the next generation of business owners and entrepreneurs.
“We feel it is important to also support foundations that are providing valuable tools to America’s students…so we are. The NFIB’s YEF has amazing skills development programs and scholarship platform, we are also supporting the Stop Bullying Now Foundation and Youth Service America. All of our selected charities fill an important need in our communities and their good work needs funding.”
On October 24th the Make a Difference Challenge turns into a national Celebration. Alumni 4 America will be celebrating what they believe will be an unprecedented level of funds raised by communities throughout the U.S. and will be acknowledging the businesses and organizations who have stepped up to the challenge.
If your school (Kindergarten through College) is in need of funding, sign up now so that corporate sponsors, businesses or concerned Americans can show their support. For more information on being part of Alumni 4 America’s Make A Difference Challenge, visit their website at www.Alumni4America.com.
