Axiomtek launches the OPS883, its newest Open Pluggable Specification digital signage player.

This digital signage player comes equipped with the high-performance 22 nm 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 or Celeron™ processor (codename: Haswell Refresh) and the Intel® Q87 Express chipset. The Intel® Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) standard helps digital signage player manufacturers to provide their customers with cost-saving benefits by simplifying installation, maintenance, and deployment processes. Axiomtek’s OPS883 offers rich features including 4K High Definition content, dual display, and real-time audio and video. The highly efficient OPS883 is excellent for multimedia applications in shopping malls, corporate offices, classrooms, banks, onboard trains or in transportation centers, retail stores, restaurants, or performing art centers.
The versatile OPS883 is equipped with one 2.5” HDD tray and one optional mSATA interface for increased storage, one PCI Express Mini Card slot for a graphics-enhanced video card, and wireless LAN card and 3G/LTE modules for wireless communication. Axiomtek’s high performance OPS883 also comes with Intel® Active Management Technology 9.0 (AMT 9.0), which helps simplify the integration process while offering convenient remote diagnosis and reducing maintenance cost.
