Non-Profit Foundation for Organ, Eye and Tissue Donation is Recognized in National Magazine
Hilton Head Island, SC, September 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Heather Trew Foundation for organ, eye and tissue donation. Local Non-Profit is recognized in national magazines.

The largest pharmaceutical publications, Remedy’s Healthy Living and Diabetes Focus recognize The Heather Trew Foundation for organ, eye and tissue donation in their Fall 2015 publications.

Over 123,000 people are on the waiting list and every ten minutes someone is added. The Foundation’s tag line, “YOU have the power to save a life, register to be an organ, eye and tissue donor today,” is also presented by their spokesperson London Fletcher, Former Linebacker for the Washington Redskins.

Founder Judy Trew states, “These publications reach over 2 million people and we hope with this opportunity we are able to see an increase to the organ donor registry.”

The Heather Trew Foundation for organ, eye and tissue donation is a 501c3 non-profit, formed in 2008 and is located on Hilton Head Island SC. The Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation among individuals of all ages. The Foundation seeks to increase the number of registered donors to the organ donor registry with a goal of adding a total of 10,000 people to the registry by end of 2015. The Foundation created Trew friends clubs to work on college and high school campuses to help educate and promote the importance of registering to be a donor.
