ITpreneurs Launches ITIL® v3 Foundation E-Learning Bridging Course

Rotterdam, Netherlands, December 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- ITpreneurs is pleased to announce the launch of its ITIL v3 Foundation Bridging course, available as a 6.5-hour, self-paced, e-learning course. The course is designed for learners who are certified at the Foundation level in previous versions of ITIL.

Special Introductory Offer till December 31, 2007
The course will be priced at $271 (recommended retail price), but will be presented as a special introductory offer for $199 only until December 31, 2007. In addition, ITpreneurs is offering the ITIL v2 Exam Preparation Guide (EPG) for free, as part of the pack. The recommended retail price for the EPG is $69. The online course can be puchased at ITpreneurs Campus (http://campus.itpreneurs.com/itpreneurs/Catalog/index.aspx).

The combination of ITIL v2 EPG plus v3 Bridging course allows learners to refresh their v2 Foundation knowledge before taking the v3 Bridging course and the optional exam.

The course can be ordered with the EXIN ITIL v3 Foundation Bridging Exam for an additional $75 until December 31, 2007 (70 Euros). The EXIN exam price will go up to $80 from January 1, 2008. Passing the exam gives students 0.5 Credits toward the new ITIL Expert® Certification launched earlier this year.

The ITIL v3 Foundation Bridging E-Learning course + ITIL v2 EPG is available now on ITpreneurs Campus (http://campus.itpreneurs.com/itpreneurs/Catalog/index.aspx) and from participating resellers/partners.

The E-Learning Bridging course is expected to outsell the classroom version by 10 to 1. David Huebert, Marketing Director of ITpreneurs, stated: “We have very high expectations of the e-learning version of the Foundation Bridging course. Over half a million people worldwide have taken the v2 ITIL Foundation course as either an e- learning or a classroom course, and passed the exam. A high percentage of them will want to update their knowledge to the new ITIL version 3. Running one-day classroom bridging courses is a logistical challenge for trainers and students, considering people may have to travel to a remote location for only one day. Classroom bridging courses are typically priced in the region of $600-$800 in the US, not including travel expenses, compared to less than half that amount for the e-learning version. For all these reasons, we expect the E-Learning Bridging course to be a hit, and achieve about 10 times the volume of the Classroom Bridging course."
