Pillar College Receives Reaffirmation of Accreditation

Newark, NJ, September 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Dr. David Schroeder, President of Pillar College, has announced to the campus community in an email that in late June, 2015, the Mid- Atlantic Region Commission on Higher Education “met to review our submission for reaffirmation of our accreditation…. The Commission’s decision was to reaffirm our accreditation.” Assuming satisfactory progress reports and an acceptable Periodic Review Report to the Commission in 2020, Schroeder noted, the next Self- Study and accreditation review process will not be until 2024-2025.

“We are pleased to report, yet again, the favor of God upon Pillar College,” Schroeder began. He also thanked campus leaders, led by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Alford Ottley, for championing the entire reaffirmation of accreditation process.

“For Pillar College, this reaffirmation extends beyond the accreditation process itself,” commented Provost Dan Wright. “Now operating in multiple locations in the Garden State, Pillar College is seeking to meet the needs of students ‘where they are’ and provide an academically recognized path to fulfill their God-given gifts and potential.”
