Vienna-Falls Chorus Rehearsal Space Changes Location
Starting September 8, 2015 Vienna-Falls Chorus weekly rehearsals have a new home.
Fairfax, VA, September 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Starting September 8, 2015 weekly rehearsals for the Vienna-Falls Chorus are moving to Providence Presbyterian Church on 9019 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, Virginia. Vienna-Falls’ membership has consistently increased and the Providence location provides accommodations for a variety of rehearsal options, break-out rooms for section rehearsals and a larger performance space. Parking at this location is ample for both rehearsals and performances.
As Lee Faber, the Facilities Manager at Providence explains, "We are home to many wonderful music programs, including Music & Arts at Providence, a group which provides music to the community in the form of recitals and guest musician concerts. We are so thrilled to have the barbershop harmonies of the Vienna-Falls Chorus ringing in our facility starting this September."
Vienna-Falls Chorus has performed all over the metro DC area, most recently for Korean veterans at the Air Force Memorial and for seniors at Brookdale Senior Living in Arlington. "Having a larger rehearsal space is important to the chorus. The availability of additional rooms for section rehearsals will help the sound of the chorus by allowing each section to work on their unit sound leading up to our International competition in Las Vegas this October," Director Claire Gardiner explains. "The competition will feature choruses and quartets from all over the world and Vienna-Falls is excited to have the opportunity to represent our five-state region. We are looking forward to rehearsing in our new facility!"
Women who are interested in singing A Capella harmony in the barbershop style are welcome to visit a rehearsal.
