SIIA Announces Nomination Period for 2016 CODiE Awards
95 Categories Available for Entry in Peer-Reviewed Awards Program.
Washington, DC, September 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, today announced the nomination period for the 31st Annual SIIA CODiE Awards. Applications, products, services, and other related technologies for use by publishers, information service providers, online learning companies, and consumers across the software, education and information sectors are invited to apply.
New in 2016
Each year SIIA stakeholders, including past judges and board members, review the CODiE Award categories to ensure the categories reflect the entire software, education and information technology ecosystems. As a result, in 2016 the Software and Content CODiE award verticals have joined to form the all new Business Technology categories. Under this new umbrella nominees have 66 categories to choose from, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends and business models. Categories span a variety of areas including Content Technology, Business Management, Data & Analytics, Sales & Marketing, Vertical Markets, Mobile Applications, Networks & Systems, and Information Security.
In Education Technology there are 29 categories to choose from, including four exciting new categories that have been added in 2016:
· Best Authoring or Development Tool
· Best PreK / Early Childhood Learning Solution
· Best K-20 Data Solution
· Best Learning Relationship Management Solution
The Education Technology categories are grouped by Pre-K, K-12, or K-20 so nominees can easily navigate to the right categories for their company.
