Bass Accepted Into Inaugural ACTEC Educational Program

Farr Law Firm is proud to announce that attorney Forrest J. Bass has been accepted into the ACTEC inaugural class for the Florida Fellows Institute.

Punta Gorda, FL, September 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Florida Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) have announced the selection of its inaugural class for the Florida Fellows Institute. Forrest J. Bass, an associate at the Farr Law Firm, was selected for this elite program designed to develop trusts and estates attorneys to become future leaders of the profession. Top attorneys will direct six comprehensive educational programs given around the state of Florida. Graduates of the Institute must successfully complete all six programs.

“Forrest’s selection for this inaugural class is a worthy recognition of his skills in the field of trusts and estates,” stated Guy S. Emerich, an ACTEC Fellow and Board Certified attorney in wills, trusts and estates at Farr Law Firm.

Mr. Bass is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates and has been an attorney with Farr Law Firm since 2009. He focuses his practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related tax matters. Mr. Bass received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 2015. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and received his Juris Doctor in 2009 from Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Bass also received his Bachelor of Arts from Flagler College in 2006.

Mr. Bass is also active in the community and supports a number of local organizations. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, President of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council and an Advisory Board Member for Charlotte State Bank & Trust.

The Florida Fellows Institute was created by Florida Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) to develop the profession's future leaders through a series of in-depth educational presentations led by outstanding subject matter experts in each field.
