Cedar Lake Cellars Celebrates Fifth Anniversary

St. Louis, MO, September 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. The year-round winery is situated on more than 170 acres of picturesque land at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, MO.

Cedar Lake Cellars was originally known as the Schreckengast Farm, which included surrounding property and various outbuildings, and was purchased by owner Carl Bolm in 2002. Built in the 1930s, the Big Red Barn has become the flagship of the property due to its total original state renovation to a unique private event space. All of the building’s wood structuring was either original or reclaimed from other barns around the area, making it a prime example of the company’s sustainability efforts.

The Barn hosts more than 100 weddings each year plus hundreds of private events including business meetings and special celebrations. It features a formal dining and conference area for 20 plus an upstairs bar and billiards loft area with room for 75 guests. The entire Barn, including its patio, accommodates more than 250 people and offers on-site catering.

Bolm later restored another building on the property and opened the wine tasting bar and restaurant. The restaurant, which seats 90 indoor and 120 patio diners for lunch and dinner, also features onsite and offsite catering for small and large parties.

The winery serves 15 wines from Missouri and California under its own private label, Tastings of the Cellars, as well as approximately 25 additional "Wines of the World" from other regions. The company also serves its signature wine slushies in a variety of flavors plus domestic, imported and craft-bottled and draft beers.
