Ziptip Appoints Douglas F. Studley as President
Stamford, CT, September 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Ziptip, Inc., (ziptip.net) a mobile payments solution, has appointed Douglas F. Studley as President. Mr. Studley will report to Lois Hamblet, CEO and Chairwoman of the Board.
Mr. Studley's career spans over forty years of senior level experience within the healthcare, financial services and engineering arenas. He has an enviable track record of providing direction and leadership of corporate business development. Douglas' career as demonstrated by his performance, illustrates insight in identifying symbiotic partner companies as well as negotiating, developing and monitoring C level business relationships.
Mr. Studley has served as President and CEO of several privately held firms in the Insurance and IT sectors and as the Managing Partner for IT and human capital management consulting firms.
Ziptip shortly will be releasing refreshed versions of its mobile apps for Android and iPhones that will enable tippers to not only pay a tip or gratuity using their phones, but also send service feedback instantly and privately to management.
Employers in many industries, especially in the restaurant space, increasingly are making efforts to collect their customers’ comments regarding their service and food experiences. Public yelping of this data does not provide restaurants a way to proactively respond quickly to such feedback. Ziptip’s solution provides management with a new way to receive such feedback and solves some of the problems associated with current methods.
Ziptip’s new apps will be available to both process tips and provide feedback in various establishments in the service sector. Ziptip’s apps will be customizable in at least the areas of service feedback and social media integration. play.google.com/store/apps/details
Employers create their own accounts, and accounts for their employees at ziptip.net.
End users who wish to send private feedback to an employer or pay an instant tip directly to a service worker should simply load the free Ziptip app on their phones. All payments are processed by PayPal.
The Ziptip service is available in over 20 countries.
Ziptip was included in Tech Cocktail's list of Boston's Hottest Startups and its solution was awarded a number of accolades including Best Use Case/Best Market Potential (HP Cross Platform Challenge Award) and Best Use of the Sencha Touch App Framework at WIP Connector's Muther! of all Hackathons + DevCon and Best App, Silver Medal (Investors' Choice Award) and Best Use of the PayPal API (Sponsor’s Choice Award).
