Filmmaker Brings Story-Based Fantasy Foods to Life Through Business
GeekDients LLC specializes in story-based fantasy and geek food ingredient kits. Each month they release their new delicacy through an ingredient kit, a short film, a fantasy character, and a live cooking broadcasting.

A recent film graduate from Northwest Nazarene University created a business called GeekDients LLC that’s a merge between film and food. When asked why he created this business, he responded, “I’ve never been to Italy, but I’ve tasted Italian cuisine. Through their food I could experience a part of their world. I can never go to my favorite fantasy realms, but through their foods I can taste and experience them.”
The Food Side:
Each month they create a new recipe and ship all the dry ingredients to your doorstep. They have two options. A subscription box called “The Story Kit” and individual kits. The Story Kit is a media interactive subscription box that gives the audience an experience. Once that month is over that ingredient kit becomes available for purchase forever.
The Film Side:
Each month through The Story Kit they bring a character to life to introduce the new delicacy. They do this through short films and live broadcasts. The short films are cinematic in nature and aim to tell an origin story about each new character or a pivotal moment in their life. The live broadcasts consist of live video gaming and live cooking.
