Voicebrook Selects St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as 2015 #EmployeeConnect Charity Recipient
Company commits to raising money through support of charitable events
Lake Success, NY, September 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- As part of its mission to empower Pathologists to save time, money, and lives, Voicebrook, Inc. has selected the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as their official charity partner. St. Jude is a leading children's hospital pioneering research and treatments for kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Since 1962, St. Jude has helped increase the survival rate for childhood cancer from 20% to 80%.
This selection was part of Voicebrook’s #EmployeeConnect initiative, which was aimed at giving its employees an opportunity to participate in the company’s charitable selection process. Voicebrook's employees voted unanimously to support this cause.
“We are very excited to join the fight against childhood cancer. It’s a chance for Voicebrook family and friends to all come together and give back,” said Voicebrook Chief Operating Officer, Rich Friedman. “For Voicebrook’s first company-wide fundraising event, we will be participating in the annual St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer on September 26, 2015. Since our employees are located across the country, the plan is to connect our employees through phone video conference while walking in the various communities that are holding these events,” said Michael Cipriani, Voicebrook Chief Technology Officer.
Through their sponsorship, Voicebrook will participate in various St. Jude events held throughout the year and explore other initiatives to raise money for the cause. If you are interested in contributing, walking, or participating virtually with Team Voicebrook, please contact michael.cipriani@voicebrook.com.
