Attorney Brent M. Buckley to Chair 2015 Annual United Way Campaign
Brent M. Buckley, an attorney and Managing Partner of the law firm of Buckley King in Cleveland, Ohio, has been selected to Chair the United Way of Lake County's 2015 Annual Campaign, "Change Starts Here."
Cleveland, OH, September 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- For the first time in its history, United Way of Lake County has an out-of-county Chair to lead its annual campaign. Brent M. Buckley, an attorney and Managing Partner of the law firm of Buckley King in Cleveland, has been selected to Chair the UWLC’s 2015 Annual Campaign, “Change Starts Here.”
“With family still living in Lake County, chairing the Campaign is personally meaningful. This year, more than ever, we need to make Lake County residents aware of the huge and immediate impact United Way has on the community,” stated Buckley. “Lake County citizens are incredibly generous, and they care deeply about the programs United Way funds that give opportunities for a better Lake County, added Buckley. “When we say, ‘Change Starts Here’ – we mean it!”
Another historical change for UWLC is the use of social media to have a virtual kick-off of this year’s Campaign. “We’ve relied on our workplace giving campaign, but by taking advantage of the capacity to reach large audiences with social media, United Way of Lake County can be at citizens’ fingertips 24 hours a day. Donations can even be made via text message,” said UWLC’s Vice President, Jean Sency.
