Michael Milardo Puts Unique Spin on Seagoing Story of Good Vs. Evil in First Novel

A short story writer and English teacher pens a novel of suspense set on the sea in his new novel put out by Dog Ear Publishing, which reviews the imaginative work.

Middletown, CT, September 16, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Johnny Maroon, a 20-year-old college drop-out who dreams of being a writer, is reeling from his encounter with a mysterious woman in black. With few options, he signs up to be a cook aboard the Synbad, an 18-tiered private luxury liner unlike any other in the world. The ship’s owner is just as unique. This new novel released by Dog Ear Publishing follows Johnny’s story as he works to survive amidst endless mysteries.

Johnny meets one outrageous character after another, from a giant man who refers to himself as Johnny’s guardian angel to foul-mouthed twins, who cook unusual dishes for the man in charge of the ship, and the head cook, who practices voodoo and knows how to throw knives. T.U.T., a golden-haired man wearing a black fur robe, uses his dark eyes to hypnotic effect, thrilling his cruise guests, mainly international military leaders and prominent businessmen and businesswomen.

“Seven Days of the Synbad” puts an unforgettable new twist on an age-old story of good vs. evil, when Johnny and his allies team up with a shaman and sorcerer who can see visions as well as a few others on the ship fighting T.U.T. the only ways they know how. Can they discover T.U.T.’s plan of ultimate evil, which will make Nagasaki look like a picnic, or will true evil win the final battle?
