Mars National Bank’s Pifer Joins PA Banker Emerging Leaders Group
Mars, PA, September 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Hope Pifer, Assistant Vice President, Senior Financial Analyst at Mars National Bank, joined the Emerging Leaders Peer Group of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association. The group’s purpose is to identify, equip, train and offer ongoing support to emerging leaders who aspire to greater levels of responsibility in the financial services industry. The group is using two quantitative surveys as part of a research project to identify how Pennsylvania banks are currently identifying and growing future leaders.
“As a community bank, we look for ways to support the development of our industry,” said Jim Dionise, Mars National Bank President and Chief Executive Officer. “Banking plays a critical role in our regional, state and national economy. Identifying and developing emerging leaders is one way to ensure banks remain vibrant and continue to serve our customers in a professional, ethical and sustainable manner.”
Ms. Pifer will serve with the group for three years. The first phase of the work, the research project will include two quantitative surveys, the first to CEOs of financial institutions in Pennsylvania and a second to a broader audience of banking professionals in the commonwealth.
