Savanna 4.5 Provides for Meaningful Analysis in Minutes

Savanna is a collaborative, all-source analysis platform with an interactive, browser-based workspace that gives users the tools to connect information and create detailed analysis to stay ahead of the curve. Savanna 4.5 enhances efficiency by simplifying search, upload and content management, and provides users with new ways to work with structured data.

The ongoing improvements to Savanna refine the analysis process by making it easy for analysts to search for and manage content, enhancing the overall Savanna experience. Licensed Savanna customers can expect new updates and enhancements on a regular basis.
New Savanna 4.5 features include:
Integrated Upload capabilities: An improved upload workflow allows users to quickly upload files directly where they need them. With the refactored Upload panel, users can customize the sharing and classification of uploaded files, and add files to multiple problem Spaces at once. In order to quickly access and work with data, users can add files directly to Linknets, Maps, Occurrences and more.
Structured data visualization: With Linknets, users have always been able to visualize the relationships and connections between data. Now, in addition to Occurrences, users can add Grids (CSVs) to their Linknets and view the connections between their data. Additionally, maps can be generated quickly from structured data by simply dragging a Grid or CSV file onto a new Map in Savanna.
More beautiful Timelines: Display and format your temporal data in Timelines that enhance your analysis. Users can change colors of events, re-order them, highlight connections, and zoom in on a time period of interest. Plus, a histogram of events quickly shows event density along the entire time span.
Intuitive Search layout: Savanna’s 4.5 Search allows for easy searching and filtering of content from multiple sources. Users can search by keyword, select their search source, add and remove filters and save their search, all from the Search panel. Even when Search is closed, the Search panel retains a user’s last search parameters, so that they can easily return to a search at any time.
