Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Friday, September 11 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. More than 250 nominees and their guests attended for the presentation of new product awards, management awards, app awards, and more.
More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Tech Startup of the Year, Software Executive of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. Metaverse Mod Squad was nominated in the Company of the Year category for Internet/New Media.
Founded in 2007 by CEO Amy Pritchard, Metaverse Mod Squad has grown to be recognized as a leader in the digital-engagement movement. The company’s global team of 10,000+ Mods chat with customers, moderate web content, manage communities, and buzz in social media. Metaverse Mods leverage their expertise to help companies create valuable engagements with their customers and communities. Over the past year, the company soared with business expansion in the European market, partnership with customer support technology leaders including Zendesk and Freshdesk, and an ever-growing marquee client list.
“We’re honored to be recognized by the American Business Awards for the work performed for clients around the world by our Mods," said Amy Pritchard, CEO and Founder of Metaverse Mod Squad. “While we focus on expanding our partnerships with industry leaders, pleasing global customers, and creating the most vibrant and experienced customer engagement workforce, Metaverse also values giving back to the communities where we live and work, and we’re particularly thrilled that the Stevie committee recognized our efforts in that area too."
Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 200 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.
“We are extremely impressed with the quality of the entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “To those outstanding individuals and organizations that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards, the judges and I are honored to celebrate your many accomplishments.
