Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 20, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Ministry of Environment and Water have signed an MoU with the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, the Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi, Dubai Municipality, Fujairah Municipality, the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Sharjah Municipality, for the launch of the UAE Air Quality Network, with a view to raising air quality levels 90% by 2021 as a part of the National Agenda.
The UAE government is also urging the relevant sectors to address the issue of noise pollution with an emphasis on implementing noise control technology to improve the living quality of people in their homes and outside.
As more pressure is placed on the sectors responsible for air and noise pollution, organizations are encouraged to optimize their processes for emissions and noise reduction, engage in air and noise levels monitoring and comply with the latest standards and regulations. With this being said:
