Crucial Ballistix NAG LAN Challenge Announced for rAge

Cape Town, South Africa, September 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Players and clans will be battling it out for their share of a R15,000 prize pool in the Crucial Ballistix NAG LAN Challenge for the following four PC games – Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Hearthstone and StarCraft II.

The tournament doesn’t have an online qualifier component as it will be played entirely via the LAN from start to finish, and only has two criteria for being eligible to enter – (1) you and your teammates must all be in possession of a NAG LAN or Area 51 ticket, and be seated in one of those areas at rAge and, (2) you and your teammates must all be at rAge and ready to play by no later than 17h30 on Friday 9 October. All games will kick off at 18h00 on Friday and finals will take place at 18h00 on Saturday.

R15,000 cash, sponsored by Crucial, Ballistix and Syntech, is up for grabs and will be awarded as follows:

CS:GO
1st Place - R2,500, 2nd Place - R1,500, 3rd Place - R1,000
Dota 2
1st Place - R2,500, 2nd Place - R1,500, 3rd Place - R1,000
Hearthstone
1st Place - R1,250, 2nd Place - R750, 3rd Place - R500
StarCraft II
1st Place - R1,250, 2nd Place - R750, 3rd Place - R500

• Tournament format: Double Elimination - Best of 1 Series. Final - Best of 3 Series.
