Local Nonprofit Holds Excess Inventory Sale; Dress for Success Tampa Bay Selling Excess Clothing, Shoes, Purses to Support Mission and Ongoing Needs

Tampa, FL, September 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Dress for Success Tampa Bay is holding its semi-annual fall Excess Inventory Sale on Friday, September 25th from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday, September 26th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Bayshore Baptist Church. All proceeds from the sale will help the organization purchase much needed plus-size business attire, larger shoe sizes and assist with boutique expenses.
“Each purchase will help to empower more women, who come through the doors of Dress for Success Tampa Bay,” said Executive Director Katie McGill.
Shoppers can purchase suits for $10, clothes, shoes and purses for $5 and jewelry, belts and scarves for $2. A selection of designer items priced at $30 or less will also be available. Cash only and all sales are final. Shoppers are kindly asked not to bring children to the event.
With only two employees and many volunteers, Dress for Success Tampa Bay relies on grants, donations and fundraising events to continue offering our services locally. This nonprofit helped more than 2,200 women in 2014 and received the WEDU Be More Empowered award in February.
Bayshore Baptist Church is located at 3111 W. Morrison Avenue in South Tampa. Shoppers are asked to use the W. Parkland Blvd. entrance.
Dress For Success Tampa Bay is a nonprofit organization that helps disadvantaged women return to the workplace to become economically independent. DFSTB provides professional attire for women, as well as career search and job skills assistance. The Career Center helps with resume improvement, mock interviews and software training.
