Career Step to Introduce Education Enrichment Tool at AHIMA Convention September 26-30
Career Step will be introducing the Education Enrichment Tool while exhibiting in booth 1123 at the 87th Annual AHIMA Convention and Exhibit in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Provo, UT, September 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training, will be attending and exhibiting at the 87th Annual Convention and Exhibit of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) in New Orleans, Louisiana. The convention is being held September 26-30, and Career Step, an AHIMA Diamond Partner, will be exhibiting in booth 1123 with information on its suite of coding training products, including the Education Enrichment Tool, which is being introduced at the AHIMA Convention.
“We are pleased to be a part of this year’s AHIMA convention and are looking forward to discussing how evaluating, educating and expanding HIM teams can help them meet new challenges,” said Laurie McBrierty, Career Step Vice President of Corporate Training. “There is a workforce shortage in the healthcare industry, and efficiently building the knowledge and expertise of existing staff can be difficult. To help overcome these obstacles, we are excited to introduce our Education Enrichment Tool, which enables coders to build their expertise without burdening organizations with securing records for practice or subject matter experts for scoring.”
Career Step representatives will be in booth 1123 at the AHIMA convention with information on the Education Enrichment Tool as well as Career Step’s other products. This new offering provides organizations an effective way to provide support and experience for employees in areas in which they have had difficulty, effectively training them with HIPAA-compliant patient records in a practice environment. Comprehensive reporting is also included, enabling managers to make the best education decisions for their teams.
In addition to supporting the growth and development of the HIM community through training programs, Career Step will be donating $25,000 to the AHIMA Foundation to fund HIM scholarships at this year’s AHIMA conference.
Ramona Singer, from the Bravo TV show The Real Housewives of New York City, will also be hosted by Career Step at booth 1123 on Monday, September 28 from 2-4 p.m. She will be signing free copies of her new book “Life on the Ramona Coaster.”
“There’s a lot to look forward to at this year’s AHIMA convention in historic New Orleans,” said Mike Hodgson, Career Step Executive Vice President of Healthcare Products and Partnerships. “We have the privilege of hosting TV star and author Ramona Singer at our booth, and we get to connect with the professionals on the front lines of the healthcare industry. Career Step is invested in helping the healthcare industry progress and the AHIMA convention is at the heart of that process.”
