NSC Commercial Services Students Hold Coffee Morning

Oswestry, United Kingdom, September 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Staff and students in the Commercial Services Department at North Shropshire College (NSC) held a coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, the coffee morning was organised by the Head of the Commercial Services, Sharon Cooper, and supported by staff and students from Scholars Restaurant and Visage Hair and Beauty Salon.

Coffee and homemade cakes were produced by Professional Cookery students from Scholars Restaurant; a tombola was run by Spa Therapy students from Visage who also performed hair and beauty therapies for staff, students and members of the public. Sharon Cooper commented, "It’s been a very successful day, it ran very smoothly. All the students within the Commercial Services Department contributed to the day. The money raised for Macmillan Cancer Support was £165."

The Commercial Services Department will be holding two seasonal pamper days in October and November, both pamper days will include spa and hair treatments in Visage followed by a meal in Scholars Restaurant for the inclusive price of £18. The first pamper day will be on Tuesday 6th October, the next pamper day will be the Halloween Pamper Day on Monday 2nd November.
