Portland, ME, September 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The 106th Annual International Claim Association (ICA) education conference takes place from September 27th through 30th at the Mirage Hotel, Las Vegas. The ICA aims to educate insurance professionals in areas surrounding Life and Health claim issues, including the day-to-day operation of claim departments.
This year’s focus includes sessions on Life & Annuity, Disability, Health & Long- term care (LTC), Fraud & Risk Management, and Leading Practices.
The focus of the ICA is to educate attendees on managing claims, rather than solely focusing on the claim process. Managing employee’s leaves of absence due to short-term or long-term disabilities can ensure employees return to work quicker, reducing the cost of temporary staff and administration for employers.. This reduces the costs of temporary staff and administration for employers. Employers that focus on the causes behind employee leaves of absence also benefit from improved employee job satisfaction.
ClaimVantage focuses on evolving its claim processing software to keep up with trends in the insurance market. In the last year, the software has evolved to include Benchmarking & Analytics, more voluntary products, including Long-Term Care (LTC) and Critical Illness, and improved integration between the ClaimVantage claims system and AbsenceDirect.
There are several interesting sessions scheduled throughout the conference surrounding these topics. ClaimVantage CEO, Leo Corcoran will be exhibiting the latest in claims software throughout the conference at booth 418.
