Children’s Book "SuperNiños" to be Released in the United States
Book Teaches Children That Everyone is Special and Unique
Suwanee, GA, September 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The beautifully illustrated children’s book that took the Dominican Republic by storm, "SuperNiños" by Anya Damirón and illustrated by Pablo Pino is to be released in English in the United States with the title "SuperKids." The original Spanish version will also be available in the United States. Exquisitely illustrated the 36-page "SuperKids" teaches children about inclusion, disabilities and no bullying, showing them that people with disabilities are defined by the amazing abilities they can develop and not by what they cannot do. The book highlights the positive and motivates others to respect diversity. Damirón and Pino developed the book with the mission to reach as many children as possible and inspire them to search for the best in each person they meet. "SuperKids" is ideal for classroom activities, as a holiday gift, and a story that children and parents can read together again and again.
“Every person is unique, we all have weaknesses and abilities that make us who we are,” said author, Anya Damirón. “Very often children don’t know how to view or think about someone with a disability. 'SuperKids' is designed to teach and entertain children at the same time about how special each person can be and that it isn’t a disability that defines the person but the person’s character.
“It is our desire that the message of 'SuperNiños' is spread to each and every child – that everyone is special and wonderful,” continued Damirón. “Teaching this at an early age is essential, our book does it in a fun way that all children can relate to since our message is universal and knows no boundaries or barriers.”
To help spread this message an animated version of this book is available online at the website www.youaresuper.co and in Spanish at www.yosoysuper.com. There is also a donating section that allows people to help us give this book to children in need through organized institutions.
"SuperKids" is the story of young Ivan who loves superheroes. His father reminds him that there is more to being a superhero than special powers and strengths, superheroes also have fears and insecurities. This valuable insight allows Ivan to see the superhero powers in fellow children who have disabilities. He learns that each of them has a superpower that allows them to be remarkable and special, that defines them.
"SuperKids" retails for $5.95. For $6.95, there is audio book that accompanies the book. Finally there is the Super Combo that retails for $15.00 that includes 2 books and a superhero cape with instructions, asking children to give the second book to a friend.
