The MobileDefender™ model S (MD-S) is developed on the same platform as the industry leading MobileDefender and will be certified to work with AT&T and introduces ground-breaking new capabilities that will help to ensure the safety of those who use the MD-S and the SecuraTrac platform.
Chris Holbert, SecuraTrac CEO said, “We are excited about the new and innovative capabilities of the MD-S. We believe that the new features will drive our entry into new segments of the markets we target and will continue to deepen our penetration in our existing segments with important new capabilities such as wake-up on SOS and Fall Advisory notifications. In addition numerous improvements have been made to existing features such as location accuracy and we have added improved Bluetooth support designed to grow the breadth of applications we can support the future.”
"This is now our 4th product introduction in the mPERS space and we have been close to these markets and the needs of our customers for 8 years and counting. Our latest release, the MD-S, addresses important needs of our markets and dealers starting with 30+ day battery life per charge, Fall Advisory notifications that can be tuned for specific use cases, and a number of improvements to existing features such as 2-way calling noise cancellation and location accuracy improvements. In addition, as we help our customers look for new market opportunities, we have added forward-looking features that will include Bluetooth® integration capabilities on the MD-S to enable the wireless integration with health monitoring systems such as blood pressure and heart rating monitors," said Robert Tomlinson, Vice President of Sales.
The MD-S leverages the existing SecuraTrac, cloud-based platform to locate the users of its mobile emergency pendant and adds key, new features while improving a number of industry leading capabilities to provide customers with 2 options for premier mobile Personal Emergency Response.
