Apex Companies Signs Teaming Agreement with Offshore Design Engineering
Partnership positions firms for offshore wind growth.
Rockville, MD, September 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Apex Companies, LLC, a leading energy, water resources and environmental consulting and engineering firm forges partnership with Offshore Design Engineering (ODE), an international engineering contractor for the oil, gas and renewable energy markets. The Apex-ODE agreement was signed at the Business Network for Offshore Wind Annual International Partnering Forum in Baltimore, MD. U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management Director Abigail Ross Hopper attended the signing agreement ceremony. Director Hopper also participated in Apex’s demonstration of their state-of-the-art technologies and applications developed for offshore and onshore marine infrastructure projects including:
• Geophysical survey, instrumentation, and data processing
• Multi and single beam hydrographic survey
• Autonomous – surface and underwater vehicles
• Underwater imaging systems
• Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) remote sensing
• Fish and marine life avoidance systems
• Drone applications – construction, wind turbine, and blade inspection
