Ink Forest Eco-Friendly Screen Printing Highlights Breast Cancer Awareness Month Through Education and Not Profit
As Breast Cancer Awareness Month approaches, Ink Forest Eco-Friendly Screen Printing lays out it's plan for October 2015 in that it will disperse educational material on the topic of women's health issues and provide screen printing services free of charge, in limited quantities, to women's health centered charities. Ink Forest screen prints use healthy alternative printing techniques that are environmentally sustainable and do not pose a health risk for those who "walk for the cure."
Oak Forest, IL, October 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- As a woman-owned business, Ink Forest Eco-Friendly Screen Printing takes women’s health issues seriously. In October of each year, we are inundated with Breast Cancer Awareness Month sales promotions and products. Many of these do not address prevention and some products even contain carcinogenic chemicals associated with increased risk of breast cancer.
Therefore, this October (2015), Ink Forest is participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a two-step approach:
1. Educational Tidbit of the Day.
Each day in October, Ink Forest will disperse throughout its social media channels an educational tip regarding cancer prevention, women’s health issues and harmful chemical that can be avoided, and
2. Free T-Shirt Screen Printing for Women’s Health Oriented Charities.
Throughout October 2015, Ink Forest will screen print at no cost for charities for women’s health. The charity will be responsible for the wholesale cost of the shirts (white or light colors) and shipping, if outside the Chicagoland area. There will be no mark-up on the shirts or no labor costs. The charity provides the artwork or Ink Forest can do basic designs at no cost. The design will be printed in one location and in one color. Quantities between 12-24 shirts.
The T-shirts will be printed with water based inks and have no carcinogens in the inks or chemicals used in the printing process. They will be printed by one of the few Certified Green screen printers in the United States. Ink Forest specifically requests that the charity keeps the pricing confidential. Garment wholesalers do not allow their pricing to be released to the public.
Call Judy at (708) 369-7402 to discuss this offer and to obtain approval for the printing.
Ink Forest is choosing to participate in the true spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month: 1) by increasing awareness through education, and 2) by taking the profit out of it.
Women’s health issues are shared not only by women but by men, families, communities and society as a whole. Let’s make our world a healthy and clean place for all of us.
