Service Allows People with Disabilities to Receive Hair Care in the Convenience of Their Homes
An in-home hair care service solely for disabled individuals who aren't able to make it to a barbershop or salon like an able-bodied person would.
Trenton, NJ, October 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Traveling Barbers "Hair Professionals For The Disabled" is a new in-home hair care service solely for the disabled community. They send professionally licensed barbers and beauticians to the residences of those who are living with disabilities and have problems with transportation to places such as a barbershop or salon to receive the same hair care services an able-bodied person would.
They are interested in letting the disabled citizens and caretakers of New Jersey to know that their helpful service is now in New Jersey and that they are accepting appointments. They are interested in helping those who may have problems with maneuvering their wheelchair in a small crowded shop; they want their convenient services to be a help for the parent of the child with special needs who throws temper tantrums when confronted with being in a unfamiliar place filled with unfamiliar faces. The Traveling Barbers are now the ones to contact when you don't want your disability to attract unwanted attention.
The Traveling Barbers was founded in the city of Trenton, New Jersey by C.E.O Cory Thomas, the son of a disabled father who had to have his leg amputated due to complications with diabetes. After his father's surgery he saw that his dad wasn't able to do a lot of the simple physical day to day things that many take for granted. One of things he had trouble with was getting his monthly haircut that he liked getting every beginning of the month. He was not yet comfortable with his "new" appearance so him making a trip to the local barbershop for hair care was out of the question. His facial appearance had started to become somewhat scruffy-like from all the hair that had grown from not receiving proper hair care, that's when Cory realized he had a close friend who happened to be a barber. Cory's barber friend did him a favor and came to the residence of his father and provided him with a haircut turning him back into the guy Cory recognized.
This is when Cory began thinking that there had to be others out there whose physically disabled and not able to make the trip to a barbershop or salon for proper hair care; he also noticed from going to the barbershop his whole life that he'd seen very few people with disabilities in them and this is when The Traveling Barbers "Hair Professionals For The Disabled" was created.
The Traveling Barbers services both males and females. For males we offer their haircut of choice which includes a shave if it applies and females can choose from one of our many cutting and styling options.
The Traveling Barbers "Hair Professional For The Disabled" has aspirations to build personal relationships with their clients and be the ones they can depend on for comforting convenient in-home hair care services in the privacy of their own home.
