From Food Truck to Family Restaurant - Former Five O'Clock Employee Announces Grand Opening of El Comedor

Milwaukee, WI, October 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On Wednesday, September 30, 2015, El Comedor Restaurant held a grand opening celebration at its location at 11th & National streets in Milwaukee.

Long-time Five O'Clock Steakhouse employee, Natalio Perez launched El Comedor as a food truck in the fall of 2014. On August 31, 2015, through strong support from the community, as well as, his former employers, Perez opened his first brick and mortar restaurant of the same name.

With more than 20 years in the restaurant industry, Perez brings bold, yet comforting flavors from his home region of Oaxaca, Mexico, giving patrons a truly authentic dining experience in a comfortable 12 table setting.

Five O'Clock Steakhouse Managing Partner, Stelio Kalkounos, was on-hand for the ribbon-cutting. "It was always Natalio's dream to open his own restaurant," said Kalkounos. "Being family owned and operated ourselves, it is an honor to lend our support the Perez family as they expand El Comedor from a food truck to a thriving business."
