Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Western Region, Partners with KIMBO Design
KIMBO Design is pleased to once again support Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s Vancouver and Lower Mainland Chapter’s 15th annual 65 Roses Gala.
Vancouver, Canada, October 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Crystal anniversary of the Cystic Fibrosis 65 Roses Gala will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in downtown Vancouver. KIMBO Design is pleased and privileged to help Cystic Fibrosis (CF) research and provide support by donating in-kind design fees for this event.
Since its inception in 2001, the 65 Roses Gala has raised more than $3 million for CF research and clinical care, including $400,000 raised at last year’s event. KIMBO worked with Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s Vancouver and Lower Mainland Chapter to develop brand and creative strategy for this signature event.
The event got its name from a boy with CF who couldn’t pronounce the disease. Instead he called it 65 Roses.
“As a mother of a daughter fighting CF, I can't express how grateful we are to sponsors like KIMBO. KIMBO has been a very generous and loyal partner for the past two years. We look forward to a continuing relationship until we celebrate a cure for Cystic Fibrosis," says, Leona Pinsky, CFC National Board member and co-founder of the 65 Roses Gala.
Every year KIMBO Design donates pro-bono creative services to support deserving causes that sometimes fall under the radar. For the past two years now, they have donated creative design work to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
CF is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. There is no cure.
Cystic Fibrosis Canada
Cystic Fibrosis Canada is committed to finding a cure for CF and is an internationally recognized leader in funding research, innovation and clinical care. They invest more funding in life-saving CF research and care than any other non-governmental agency in Canada. Cystic Fibrosis Canada funded Dr. Lap Chee Tsui and his international research team who found the gene responsible for the disease in 1989. They continue to fund leading-edge research in the hope of finding a cure or control for CF. Visit www.cysticfibrosis.ca.
