Salons of Castleton Entering Third Phase of Expansion Spearheaded by Jim Sapp, Local Entrepreneur
After years of managing the 6520 E 82nd Street building, Jim Sapp, continues to creatively renovate the building to grow the Castleton economy.
Indianapolis, IN, October 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- For decades, Jim Sapp has owned and managed the 6520 Building on East 82nd Street. He has seen the Castleton economic environment shift drastically and he feels a personal responsibility to help ensure the area continues to grow and prosper.
Despite massive transitions up and down 82nd Street, Sapp has maintained a full building, even through shaky economic times. “The 2008-2012 time period was a tough time economically for our entire country, and it was no different for the small business owners in the Castleton are. We had long-time tenants and customers who were simply unable to continue doing what they were doing.”
That’s when Sapp had the idea to completely renovate the second story of the building to create Salons of Castleton, a boutique salon space that allows individuals the opportunity to grow their personal, small business – whether they’re a stylist, massage therapist or esthetician - in a low-risk environment.
Salons of Castleton offers a fully updated building – including granite countertops, private salon suites, multiple wash stations, individual dryers, chairs and private, lockable suites. “For many of our clients, these amenities seemed out of reach. Some of our clients were paying more for a poor location with little to no space to service their clients. It’s great to be able to offer these stylists everything they need to run their business successfully as well as a convenient location with lots of drive-by traffic.”
But Sapp knows that helping these small businesses doesn’t stop there. Sapp continues to make improvements to the 6520 Building to make it more attractive and keep the building updated. Coming this fall, the building will be getting a new roof and updated roof lines to make the building more modern, matching the interior décor that was recently updated.
In addition to continued building improvements, Jim Sapp offers Salons of Castleton tenants free online booking software, online marketing through search engine optimization and Facebook advertising on behalf of his tenants. Having grown several businesses of his own, Sapp understands what it takes to help a company grow and thrive.
