FluxLight Offers TAA Compliant Optical Transceivers
Resellers can now bid TAA Optical Transceivers for Government Contracts.
Dallas, TX, October 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- FluxLight, the price performance leader for 100% Compatible Optical Transceivers, has launched a full line of TAA-compliant modules. Now Fluxlight’s reseller network can bid optical transceivers, for up to 90% less than normal OEM prices, on all government contracts regulated by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
"FluxLight’s resellers have been successful selling FluxLight 100% compatible optical transceivers largely due to prices up to 90% less than OEMs," says Tony Farinholt, CEO of FluxLight. "With FluxLight now offering a full line of TAA-compliant transceivers, FluxLight resellers can have the same pricing advantage when completing their federal government bids.”
The new TAA-compliant transceivers are available exclusively through Fluxlight’s reseller partners. “Many of our reseller partners, especially those with a significant Federal sales component, have requested that we expand to offer a full line of modules that meet the FAR," says Rafael Garcia, Channel Manager. "The TAA compliant line includes the one-hour-response bid desk for quick quotes, advance replacement, free 30 day evaluation samples (so you can verify quality & 100% compatibility), free drop shipping, and margins up to 65% off MSRP."
TAA refers to the Trade Agreements Act of 1979 (19 U.S.C. & 2501-2581), which is intended to foster fair and open international trade. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is the principal set of rules in the Federal Acquisition Regulation System. The FAR System governs the "acquisition process" by which the United States federal government purchases (acquires) goods and services. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 25.4 includes guidance for TAA compliance. In general, a product is TAA compliant if it is made in the United States or a "Designated Country."
