eSight Again Named Energy Management "Leader" in Independent Report
Schaumburg, IL, October 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- As part of a report from independent analyst firm Verdantix, eSight energy management software has been named a ‘Leader’ among the 27 software solutions included in the study.
The comprehensive survey, which compares energy management software solutions based on 130 functionality and vendor success metrics, identified eSight’s key strengths in energy and carbon reporting, IT systems integration and internationalization. eSight scored highly in these categories, with the report particularly observing the software’s ability for bi-directional communication with external systems for collection and presentation of data, and its vast analysis and reporting functionality.
“eSight should be on the shortlist for Energy managers needing a configurable cross-company communication platform,” said Derrek Clarke, industry analyst at Verdantix.
The key requirements for customers when choosing an energy management software as identified in the report also suggest why eSight was classified as a leader. The highest priorities of the panel questioned were to make cost savings, perform energy monitoring & reporting and automate data capture. The 17 customers questioned from across 7 industries also expressed a preference to buy systems from specialist software firms.
Simon Durrant, CEO of the eSight Energy Group commented: “It’s great to again be recognized as leaders in energy management and to maintain our position at the forefront of the industry. This year saw nearly double the number of solutions surveyed compared to last year so it is therefore particularly pleasing to be providing a consistently strong solution in a rapidly growing market.”
