Nippon Capital AM Waives Management Fees for Individuals
Nippon Capital AM has announced that it will extend reduced management fees to include individual clients.
Osaka, Japan, October 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Nippon Capital AM has announced that, following the success of its decision to cut management fees by for institutional clients, it will extend the policy to include individual clients with investable assets or portfolio valuations exceeding US$100,000 by cutting fees by 25%
Private clients with investable assets or portfolio valuations below US$100,000 will have management fees waived for 9 months starting 1st January 2016.
The Osaka-based investment boutique said its decision to cut management fees for institutional clients earlier this year had resulted in a significant surge in institutional client numbers.
Charles Worth, Executive Vice-President and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Nippon Capital AM said, “After looking at the success of the initiative with our institutional client base, we reasoned that individual clients are also disenchanted with the management fees many of the wealth managers in our region charge. With that in mind, we’ve decided to reward existing individual clients for their loyalty and to show new clients that there is an alternative to paying high charges for distinctly ordinary returns.”
Toshiro Noda, Nippon Capital AM’s Senior Vice President who pioneered the management fee reduction scheme said he is delighted with the success of his initiative. “I was brought on to help Nippon Capital AM to significantly increase funds under management and I’m happy to say that early results appear to be encouraging.”
The firm has taken on 72 new institutional clients since launching the initiative with 15 transferring stewardship of their entire portfolios to the firm.
Nippon Capital AM declared its intention to more than double its assets under management by the end of 2018 and enlisted ex-Daiwa Asset Management’s Noda to help achieve the objective.
