Ceasar & Chuy Moves to 9pm
Ceasar & Chuy moves to 9pm Tuesdays and Thursdays on LATV.
Los Angeles, CA, December 14, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The critically acclaimed “Ceasar and Chuy” show which airs on LATV Tuesdays and Thursdays, gets an earlier time slot, according to sources close to Overman Productions.
The hilarious music video show, where a couple of animated skater-type hosts irreverently critique music videos, has been moved to the new 9PM time slot effective December 2, 2007.
Executive Producer, Keu Reyes, views the schedule change as “a great move by LATV”.
“This new time slot will help us compete a lot more, especially on the East Coast regions,” says Reyes.
“Ceasar and Chuy” has been a ratings success among the 12 to 17-year old audience, even though the show is geared towards the 18 to 24-year olds. “Our topics are mostly adult-themed, so it’s pretty exciting to see a younger audience embracing the show,” says Reyes, who is also a writer on the show, along with Rick Najera (Mad TV, In Living Color).
“We’re very hard on the show. We make sure every area of our production is tight,” says Executive Producer Alfonso Amey, who heads the animation of Ceasar and Chuy. “Since the show’s inception, we’ve made many changes to the art in order to maintain the characters constantly growing,” adds Amey.
“We have a lot of surprises stored… maybe even Celebrity Guests in the near future, you’ll just have to wait and see,” says Reyes, when commenting about the future of the show.
Currently, sponsors and advertisers are knocking on Ceasar and Chuy’s door to get into what seems to be the “next big underground hit”. “We are considering some cross-promotional opportunities for Ceasar and Chuy, but we’re waiting for the right time to make that move,” explains Amey.
Ceasar and Chuy can be seen Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9pm on LATV, which is the nation's first bilingual music/entertainment network distributed via digital multicast.
