Willig, Williams & Davidson Welcomes Three Employment Law Attorneys
Labor and employment law firm continues to bolster its union-side team of legal advocates.
Philadelphia, PA, October 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Philadelphia labor, employment and workers’ compensation law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson is pleased to announce that Lauren Frankel, Danielle Newsome and Alidz Oshagan have joined the firm as associates.
“All three of these fine young attorneys have demonstrated the commitment to upholding the rights of working people that is at the core of our mission at Willig, Williams & Davidson,” said Managing Partner Deborah R. Willig.
Lauren Frankel focuses her practice on employee benefits law, advising public and private sector pension and welfare funds on a wide range of benefits issues. Before entering the law, she worked extensively with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) in Philadelphia, New York City, and upstate New York, gaining valuable perspective on the issues that impact the lives of working men and women.
Focusing her practice on the representation of labor unions and individual employees, Alidz Oshagan comes to Willig, Williams & Davidson from a union-side law firm near Detroit, where she represented clients in labor and employment matters including collective bargaining, labor practice investigations, ERISA litigation, NLRB advocacy, and bankruptcy.
Danielle Newsome is a recent law school graduate, but she is a veteran of organized labor. Before enrolling in law school, she spent years working as an organizer with groups including the Change to Win Labor Union Federation, United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, and American Federation of Teachers, among others. She returns to Willig, Williams & Davidson after spending a summer as a law clerk with the firm during her legal education.
A 2003 graduate of Clark University, Lauren earned her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2009.
Alidz graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010, then earned her law degree in 2012 from the University of Michigan Law School.
