Mr Wright Special Performance at The Cutting Room on Tuesday, Oct. 27th
Mr Wright will be performing in NYC on Tuesday, October, 27th at The Cutting Room. This is a special engagement backed by a powerhouse band of musicians that are each stars in their own right with collective working backgrounds with the Scissor Sisters, Garbage, Splender, Kylie Minogue, Pink, The Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, Jay Z, Culture Club, Gavin DeGraw, Alexa Ray Joel, Curtis Peoples, Vertical Horizon...the list is very long and impressive. And that's just the band!
New York, NY, October 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Mr Wright, more formally known as Jason Anthoney Wright, has jumped the pond shortly after signing with Nira Paliwoda of the boutique NYC based management company, Two Shes Productions, LLC. He is currently recording new tracks with such production talents as David Maurice, DJ Journey and Tramp & Precise. But he is taking some time out of the studio to play with a powerhouse band of musicians that are each stars in their own right (David Maurice, Marc Slutsky, Matt Hogan, Guyora Kats and Bridget Barkan). Collectively, these musicians have played/recorded with or are actual members of the following bands/artists: Scissor Sisters, Garbage, Splender, Kylie Minogue, Pink, The Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, Jay Z, Culture Club, Gavin DeGraw, Alexa Ray Joel, Curtis Peoples, Vertical Horizon...the list is very long and impressive. And that's just the band!
A band of such caliber is needed to compliment this four and a half octave soulful crooner with an English accent. Mr Wright has worked with many leading musicians such as lending his voice to Grammy award winning duo Basement Jaxx Kish Kash album in addition to successfully releasing his own material in the UK. Reaching recording and album of the year many times, his sound epitomizes legends of the smooth soul era like Al Green, Curtis Mayfield and Luther Vandross.
On October 27th, he will be performing radio hits like "Wud If I Cud", "Reset 2 Zero" and "No Me Without You" for the first time in the States along with some new tracks that have never been released or performed live. There may even be some special musical guests that drop in.
