Feedonomics Launches Nationwide Partner Program
Feedonomics is encouraging VARs to get into the shopping cart “Feed Optimization” business.
Woodland Hills, CA, October 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Feedonomics is a product feed platform that helps online retailers feed their products into all major online comparative search engines, marketplaces, and shopping websites. Product feed platforms are typically either sold directly or set up and managed by advertising agencies. However, VARs and consultants typically set up the shopping carts that are used by the feed platforms, and many also help with SEO and online marketing, "so why shouldn't they also sell the feed platform or service?” asks Feedonomics.
“Feedonomics is offered almost exclusively through ad agency partners, including some of the largest in the world,” explains CEO Shawn Lipman, “but we’ve also decided to bring VARs and consultants into the partner program, knowing they could easily handle the technical aspects and help even more customers.”
Most companies that sell online want their products available everywhere—especially on shopping engine giants like Amazon, Google Shopping, and eBay. Many resellers also feed their own product lines into the online marketplaces and comparative shopping engines to sell nationwide. The product data can be uploaded manually with spreadsheets, but that takes expertise and is next to impossible for more than a few SKUs. Product feed platforms are the easier alternative—and Feedonomics is one of the popular options.
All VARs and consultants, especially those that sell shopping carts and e-commerce products, are encouraged to apply to Feedonomics’ partner program.
Feedonomics’ partners start at gold to ensure extra margins and get a quick payout (with high recurring margin), and they can register deals to minimize channel conflict. Easy MDF access and spiffs are also included, and deals registered in the first 90 days earn an extra 10% margin to compensate partners for the learning curve. Feedonomics also offers free training and NFR access (so the partners can try the platform themselves), and partners are included in the reseller locater on Feedonomics.com.
“As we see it, partners are extensions of our own sales force, and that’s how we treat them,” adds Lipman. “Barrier-free training and software access let them feel first-hand Feedonomics’ expansive data-cleaning tools and automating features. After training, we stay with partners via remote webinars to help them succeed.”
“I was skeptical that my analysts would not embrace a new feed platform,” says James, an agency partner, “but once they experienced the functionality and ease of use of Feedonomics, they actually thanked me for the change. The training, support and service is exemplary.”
