Santa Fe Christian Schools Hosts Veterans Celebration Event Students, Parents and Local Community Gather to Honor Armed Forces

Solana Beach, CA, October 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- What:

Santa Fe Christian Schools (SFC) will honor the United States Armed Forces at the annual SFC Veterans Celebration event on Tuesday, November 10 at 10 am in the school gymnasium. The keynote speaker will be Major Richard Pascoe, West Point Graduate and Veteran of Gulf War. The celebration includes performances by SFC’s band and choir, along with a Presentation of the Colors by the Miramar AFB Color Guard. Admission is free.

Keynote Speaker:

The keynote address will be given by Richard Pascoe, a 1986 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was commissioned as a Field Artillery officer in the US Army in 1986 and served on active duty with 24th Infantry Division at Fort Stewart. He is a decorated combat veteran of the Gulf War (Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm) having served in Saudi Arabia and Iraq in 1990 and 1991. He is a graduate of the US Army Airborne and Air Assault Schools as well as a recipient of the Honorable Order of St. Barbara awarded to select Field Artillery Officers.

All members of the military and their families, serving or have served, are invited to attend along with SFC families and press representatives.
