Upcoming Nov 16th 5G Mobile Communication Summit in Silicon Valley Brings Industry Experts, Researchers and Professionals Under One Roof
IEEE Communications Society of Santa Clara Valley (www.comsocscv.org) announced today the availability of tickets for the state-of-the-art workshop on 5G mobile communications being held at Google (Mountain View, CA) on 16-November-2015.
Santa Clara, CA, October 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- IEEE Communications Society of Silicon Valley today announced the availability of tickets for the 5G Summit being held at Google campus in Silicon Valley on 16th November, 2015. This workshop developed by the IEEE Communication Society is based on a strategic framework and principles that embrace Industry's interests and priorities in the burgeoning mobile communication market place. This one day summit will provide a platform for the industry leaders, innovators, and researchers from the industry and academic community to collaborate and exchange ideas in the emerging technology that may help in driving the standards and rapid deployment.
Wireless data increasingly plays a key role in every aspect of our lives and there is growing industry consensus that by 2020, networks can expect a 1,000-fold increase in mobile data traffic. To accommodate continued rapid growth of more than 60% in demand for wireless data annually, future 5G networks must provide orders of magnitude increases in both data rate and capacity in comparison to the existing 3G/4G infrastructure. Network operators are looking to higher frequency bands (millimeter waves) to meet these needs. New and innovative approaches to solve these challenges include 5G waveforms, network densification, massive MIMO, and mmWave communications. The requirements of tomorrow’s 5G use cases as well as continuing new deployments are bringing fundamental changes which warrant a collective rethinking of how a network needs to get designed and deployed.
At the summit, find out how wireless communication researchers in academia and industry are framing and presenting the future of mobile communication with 5G technologies. Attendees will also learn about the economics of mobile broadband that 5G networks must meet and the total cost of ownership consistent with previous generation networks. You will learn how this mandate translates into key performance and cost metrics for 5G network architecture and the radio air interface design and their impact on the design of key building blocks.
The summit speakers and participants include key industry leaders and influencers from several companies like AT&T, Google, Stanford, China Mobile, Cisco, Intel, Qualcomm, KeySight, Ericsson, Broadcom, Huawei, Bloomberg, etc. The Summit will be live streamed and also recorded to reach a global audience pool.
Limited sponsorships spots are still available in the following categories:
Platinum $5000
Gold $3000
Silver $2000
Bronze $1000
The Bay Area Summit is co-sponsored by IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Standards Association and IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section.
Registration
The registration for the workshop costs $50 for IEEE members and $75 for nonmembers. Students and life members receive 50% discount. Registration includes breakfast, lunch and evening reception.
