Solar Hideout - Indie-P Space Strategy Game on Kickstarter
Play as an airborne computer Artificial Intelligence and lead a group of exiled renegades in their escape from Earth. Demo available.
Bonn, Germany, October 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Solar Hideout is the name of the most complex PC space game of today. From 31st Oct. to 29th Nov. it will be on the crowdfunding platform "Kickstarter.com" for public funding.
The space strategy game takes place in a near future setting in our own Solar System. The player slips into the role of a digital life form, a true virtual intelligence.
The game was designed by Daniel Homburg, a freelance programmer from Germany. Together with an international team of professionals he developed it within 18 months from scratch.
The concepts were made in the 90s. Till today no publisher dared to develop anything like that. The approach is provoking: Instead a heroic saving of Earth as this genre is used to, the player will have to fight a desperate survival war for a group of exiled renegades against the military forces of Earth.
If the funding is successful, the game release is scheduled for February 2017 for Windows OS. The game will be available in the English and German languages.
