Events & Every Day Catering Pitches in to Say "We Care" to Hundreds of Children in Harlem

New York, NY, December 15, 2007 --(PR.com)-- New York City corporate catering company Events & Every Day (www.eventsandeveryday.com) has joined with leading New York City architects and designers in contributing to the 11th annual We Care celebration at The Children’s Aid Society’s Dunlevy Milbank Center. We Care is organized by prominent office furniture manufactures Herman Miller, Inc., and Geiger, along with two dozen of America’s leading interior design firms.

Part of a national program which includes Boys and Girls Clubs across the country, and The Children’s Aid Society in New York, We Care is an event created to give children who might not otherwise have gifts to give to their families, the opportunity to create gifts of handmade handcrafts aided by some of New York’s most talented architects, designers and artisans.

“To be able to contribute to something so wonderful is a blessing,” says Events and Every Day’s Sarah McCullough. “These incredible volunteers have transformed the Dunlevy Milbank Center into Santa’s workshop, and it’s an honor to help by making sure that they are well fed.”

Some 450 preschool and early school-aged children from upper Manhattan day care centers attended the December 7th event, producing a wonderful array of gifts at individual craft stations, enjoying the festivities, and a special guest appearance from Santa himself.
